We recently visited the "barn" for a family celebration. It is a beautiful restaurant with upscale furnishings. The tables were lovingly set for us. The menu sequence is very well coordinated and the taste is excellent. Unfortunately the dishes were almost cold when they came to our table. Nothing was handed in at the food, so that not all of our guests got enough of the food. The menu sequence was also not presented to the guests. They sometimes sat on the "dry land" and had to wait a long time for the drinks, all of which came to the table individually. If they came at all. The Bacchus was already drunk after the 5th bottle and the beer could no longer be ordered. We have reserved about 6 weeks in advance for this birthday party. Fine dining yes, but unfortunately very bad service and overwhelmed, bad-tempered innkeeper.
Exceptional ambience and excellent cuisine!
After we got an offer u. canceled because it seemed too high, we were cheekily replied "Well, then a lot of enjoyment with pizza, pasta and gyros. "Before that, people complained about customers who no longer responded to offers. No wonder if you deal with them that way. So the insolence continues, in which customer data apparently is also published without being asked. So apparently no idea about data protection and discretion. By the way, I am not the named person. It has only circled how it is dealt with here.
Overwhelmed, food partly cold, want to be more than they are
Exellent very delicious fresh and prepared with much passion food from local products, beautiful with a lot of love, taste and effort furnished ambience, very nice hosts ... This place is ideal for family celebrations and for the people looking for high quality and nice atmosphere attach great importance and willing to pay a little more for it (the price is not overpriced for the quality and the ambience) .Thank you for this unforgettable experience! Our guests have also felt very comfortable with you ...
Wanted to eat there but it looked so closed. Have driven somewhere else, but from the outside everything looked very nice. LG
A gem hidden in the countryside. "Die Scheune" (German for "the barn") has a very warm and rustic environment, hidden in the countryside. The cook has transformed it in a "boutique restaurant" where she exhibits her talent and creativity. A very important point where the excellent wines from local high quality wineries. All in all an extraordinary experience. Quality and personal service with a specialized, tailored menu. Available only with reservation. The prices for this quality level, wines and service where what we expected. It was an extraordinary culinary experience, a gem, hidden in the countryside.
Nice atmosphere. The prices are in my opinion incomprehensible, too expensive!
Very noble kitchen. Excellent preparation.
Super good cuisine, affordable and affordable, we'll be back, keep it up and thank you
Past for family party
We recommend. From 4 people possible.
The restaurant promises fine cuisine, but it is anything but sophisticated. It started at the door of the paint is peeling and all the curtains were completely drawn so that it does not look inviting, when you enter the restaurant you come into a large open room which at first glance promises a quite cozy atmosphere but quickly turns into a nightmare the chairs are cold and have no seat cushions, the floor is overlooked with leaves, the corners are full of cobwebs and the plywood panels attached to the walls show that this is a very poorly maintained location. The thread of horror ran through the entire stay, the dishes had water stains, the butter for the starters was rancid, the condition was anything but a trained waiter so he brought all drinks individually to the table and there is only medium as Water type, the plate on which the main dish was cold and the food on it, all dishes had no taste, the dessert was a mixed pudding from Dr. Oetger who was refined with ready-made spray cream. The dessert was served in a small bowl similar to a creme brulee bowl but was significantly smaller and cost € 8.50 All in all, I would not call this restaurant an upscale kitchen. In my opinion and experience, it is a poor farmer's restaurant that tries its hand at upscale cuisine. But the only thing it has in common with fine cuisine is the prices. Here in the region there are significantly better restaurants that also have a more beautiful appearance and are cheaper in worlds than this house of horrors.
Super
